DesignGroup Ranked No. 79 on 2010 Modern Healthcare Construction & Design Survey

DesignGroup has ranked No. 79 on the 2010 Modern Healthcare Construction & Design Survey. This survey provides important information on construction and design firms that do business within the healthcare industry. Participating companies are based in the U.S. and have 100,000 square feet or more of healthcare projects in at least one phase of construction - completed, broke ground/in progress or designed.

Some key statistics from DesignGroup’s current survey include:

  • In 2009, DG worked on healthcare projects in 6 states including Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Wyoming, Pennsylvania and Arizona, 1 more than in 2008;
  • The firm’s total construction cost value for 2009 was approximately $53.2 million, slightly higher than 2008;
  • Healthcare comprised 53% of the firm’s total work in 2009, compared to 56% in 2008.
