We are pleased to share that the Franklin County Courthouse has been selected as the recipient of the 2011 Harrison Smith Award. The Award, given annually by the Franklin County Downtown Commission, is awarded to projects that positively impact Columbus’ urban environment.

The award was presented on Wednesday, December 14^th to the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, as well as other members of the courthouse team.

DesignGroup was awarded an American Institute of Architects Design Award from the Columbus Chapter for the Hocking College Energy Institute. The 12,200 square foot facility serves as the flagship building for Hocking College’s growing Advanced Energy, Fuel Cell, and Vehicular Hybrid Technology programs.  The facility houses a variety of curriculum spaces for sustainable technologies and is designed to engage students in a hands-on learning process.
